When Love Finds You in the Quiet Places

There's a kind of love that doesn't need to announce itself. It doesn't arrive with fireworks or grand gestures. It slips into the quiet places... the moments where you feel unseen, unsure, or worn thin by life. That's the love that found me.

Not when I had everything together. Not when I felt strong. But when I was tired... when I didn't know what the next step was... when I questioned if I was even worthy of something beautiful. It was in that place God whispered, "I've loved you long before you knew how to love yourself."

And something inside me broke... in the best way.

Because the truth is: We spend so much of our lives trying to earn love. Trying to be enough. trying to not disappoint anyone. Trying to be the strong one for everyone else. But Gods love doesn't work like that.

It sits with you in your mess. It wraps around the pieces of you that you hide. It doesn't walk away when you're too quiet, too emotional, too overwhelmed, or too imperfect. It stays. Love stays.

And maybe that's the part that makes me emotional... the realization that the love God gives is the love I've been searching for all my life. Not loud. Not demanding. Not conditional. Just real. Just steady. Just there.

And if no one has told you lately, let me be the one to say it:

You are loved in the quiet. You are loved in the questions. You are loved in the healing and in the undoing. You are loved even when you don't feel lovable.

Sometimes love doesn't show up the way we pictured. Sometimes it shows up as peace. Sometimes it shows up as clarity. Sometimes it shows up as someone God places in your life unexpectedly.

And sometimes... it shows up as you finally learning to love the person God is shaping you into. Wherever you are today, I hope you feel it... the gentle, unshakable, unwavering love that has never stopped reaching for you.

You don't have to chase it. You don't have to pretend for it. You don't have to earn it. Just receive it. Because God's love has always been yours.
